Desperately In Need To Pay Off All My Debts – Can Anyone Help Me

The situation that this latest client finds himself in is actually not that unusual. He has amassed a $25,000 credit card debt spread over several credit cards and now must pay the high interest rates on this total debt that credit cards charge or find some way to repay the debt as soon as possible.  He is desperate to find a solution to pay off all of his debts. Most people do not have the ready cash to deal with a situation like this and are faced with slowly repaying the debt or refinancing a mortgage or taking out a personal loan at a lower interest rate. This is not an uncommon situation with many consumers facing this dilemma every month.

Fortunately for this applicant, he has several options available to him. He has an excellent credit rating at this time, however if he gets into trouble repaying his credit cards, his credit rating will quickly tank which will make it difficult to get any kind of financing. It is important that he act now to deal with this issue or risk a much lower credit rating.

His best solution will be a personal loan that is amortized over 5 years and at a low interest rate compared to credit card interest rates. He should also terminate several of the credit card accounts so that he does not end up in this situation again. It will take him five years to repay this particular debt, however this is the price he must pay for having got into this situation.

He also has another potential solution which is to remortgage his existing mortgage and add this $25,000 debt to the balance of the mortgage. There would be some mortgage administration fees and some legal fees if he were to take this approach. The advantage to this approach would be a low interest rate based on the security of his home and a long amortization which both would contribute to low monthly payments compared to a personal loan or monthly payments to the credit card companies.

As we mentioned earlier it is important that he deal with this situation quickly to avoid any down grade on his credit rating. Even if this situation takes a few weeks to resolve itself, he must meet the monthly payment requirements on his credit cards to maintain his credit rating.

Extra information here please (some detail):: can you believe I hold a pretty decent job at a major company and I cannot manage my own debt situation. I have all of these credit cards which total $25,000 and of course I have charged then all up to their maximum and now I cannot charge any more unless I repay some of the balance.  I need to get this situation under control and I need to pay off my debts as soon as possible.

I should know better since I manage a large department, I have to set budgets and manage to budgets in my professional life and yet I cannot even come close to managing my own finances in a responsible way. I realize that I am venting a bit here, but this just reflects my desperation and requirement to get this whole debt thing under control.

Note to Lender :: I would like a loan for $25,000 which I will use to totally pay off my credit card debt and then I am going to close some of these credit card accounts so that I cannot get into the same situation again. I have a home with a large mortgage on it, however there is sufficient equity that could be used to refinance the mortgage if you think this is a better approach compared to a personal loan.

My objective is to pay off the credit cards, reduce the interest that I am paying from 21 % to around 5% hopefully and take a term of the loan of around 5 years to repay this $25,000 debt. I know that if I were to remortgage the house and add this $25,000 to the mortgage the monthly payments for the difference would not be that much higher since the amortization would be extended over a longer period of time.

Can anyone help me with this ridiculous situation that I have got no one to blame but myself?

Income: I generate 4000 per month from a job at a transportation company, I manage their accounting and general office management.

I did not work for a while and I had a steady job making over 80K per year, had a father that was dying and a baby on the way. with no real source of income I had compiled about 18000 in personal debt for the year I was off.
I paid a 10000 into it and then I was very tight on cash so had to borrow a payday loan. Now the personal debt is about 8000 but I also fell behind on other stuff and had to get payday loans and other high interest loans. I need to pay all these pay my bills and get rid of the personal debt because it haunts me, I am in desperate need to clear things and then I know what I owe and its a single source so I can pay it and hopefully in a very short period of time.
I want to pay payday loan of 700 that I owe another for 800 to mogo and catch up with all bills and the personal debt finish with instead of every month trying to scramble to pay this and that.
