We have a client who has an emergency and needs $3000 today or tomorrow at the latest to pay for repairs to his car which he uses to get back and forth to work. His credit rating should be excellent since he has no debts and usually pays his bills on time. Unfortunately he did have one late payment of a loan, which set his credit score back somewhat. This one hit on his credit score may cost him a few points on the interest he is going to pay for this emergency loan. As a note to readers, it is so important to protect your credit score and never forget to make all of your payments on time. A report of a late payment will stay on your report for quite sometime and could impact the decision to approve a loan or not. At the minimum it is going to cost you more money due to the higher interest rate that goes with a lower credit score.
The bank will likely approve the loan he needs and the money can be in his account by tomorrow morning. We do need to see copies of his pay stub to prove his income level and we need to know what his monthly payments are for rent or mortgage and utilities. He stated that he did not have any loans other than the one he is applying for, although he has several credit cards, each with a $1000 limit. This customer should really rethink his strategy of keeping the limits on his credit cards low. He would be able to use his credit card as an emergency loan financial tool and save the expense of applying to a lender for an emergency loan.

Any extra information here please :: I drive to work every day from my home in Tecumseh to the west side of Windsor were I work in one of the assembly plants in the area. It is about 35 km’s one way and there is no bus service that I can take. I tried car pooling initially and it just did not work out with all of the different shifts everyone is on. I really need my car running and I just found out it needs about $3000 in repairs. The brakes, the tires and the muffler system all need to be replaced. It is in the shop right now being repaired, however I need to pay for it before they will release the car to me. I have to go to work tomorrow night for the night shift and really need my car back on the road. I would use my credit cards, however there is only a $1000 dollar limit. Stupid me, I made the credit card company put that low limit on to protect myself from spending too much. Other wise I would just charge it to my credit card.

We had two lay off notices for a period of 3 months each, to retool the plant and gear up for the next model year. Other than that I have worked full time. When I was laid off, I did some house framing and general carpentry work to pay the bills and keep busy. Lately I have been offered overtime, but have not taken advantage of the opportunity up until now.
